Boy’s Fall Lacrosse Clinic and Games for grades 4-12…….Sundays beginning Sept 19 to Oct 10th
UD men’s lacrosse head coach Bob Shillinglaw,and his staff will once again host a series of Sunday afternoon youth clinics and games beginning Sept. 19 and continuing Sept. 26, Oct. 3, and Oct. 10.
The clinics will consist of skill instruction followed by competitive games for boys in grades 4-12 each Sunday between 12-2 p.m. The instruction and games will be at UD’s Field Turf Fields behind Delaware Field House and the practice grass fields behind the outdoor pool. The cost of the four-week program is $100. Athletes should bring a helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, stick, sneakers for turf, spikes for grass, and a water jug.
Registrations are being accepted online http://www.bluehens.com/mens_lacrosse.html now through September 19. The cost is $100 for the four Sundays and payment may be made by check or credit card. Checks must be received by September 18.

Delaware Lacrosse Challenge High School Tournament……Nov 14th
On Sunday, November 14, Delaware will be hosting the 2010 Delaware Challenge Boy’s Lacrosse Tournament for teams or individuals to play either day. Competition will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the University of Delaware Athletic Complex
For the 2010 Delaware Challenge, players who are interested in competing as individuals. Registration is $65. Athletes can register now at:http://www.bluehens.com/mens_lacrosse.html through November 12. Payment can be made by credit card.
The games will be regulation 10 vs. 10 played by high school federation rules. Teams will be placed in Divisions. Teams are guaranteed three games that will declare a winner for each division. No overall tournament winner will be declared – only divisional winners. Each game will be 50 minutes in length. Personal information will be available to all college coaches in attendance.
Players can sign up as individuals, or with their high school team or club team. Individuals can sign up to be placed on independent teams or complete high school or club teams are also encouraged to attend. For those groups attending as a team it is recommended to have 18-20 players. All participants will have a short instructional clinic prior to the first games per NCAA rules.
